Mission
The prime mission of the Eagleville Police Department is the preservation of public peace and order, the prevention and detection of crime, the apprehension of offenders, the protection of persons and property, and the enforcement of the laws of the State and the local ordinances of the Town.
To achieve this goal the department strives to gain and retain the confidence and respect of the public in such a way as to insure the welfare and betterment of the citizens of Eagleville.

Traffic Court is typically held the second Tuesday of the month unless otherwise noted. You will find the date and time for court on the City Calendar.
- Please dress appropriately.
- If you need to provide documentation for traffic citations - photographs or scanned images can be emailed directly to cityclerk@eaglevilletn.gov. You must provide your Name and the Case/Citation number in the email. Once you have sent the email, wait about 10 minutes for the email to come through and CALL the Court Clerk's Office at 615-274-2922 ext 1. You will need to give the name and citation/case number that you provided in the email.
- Where is court held? Court is held at City Hall, the log cabin at the stoplight in Eagleville.
- Where do I park for court? There is parking available at City Hall as well as behind City Hall in the grass lot.
- Do I have to come to court? No. You are welcome to pay your citation online at the above link or bring/mail payment to City Hall at the above address.
- Can I go to Traffic School? If you want to attend Traffic School, you must come to court. Only the judge can assign Traffic School.
- Can I take Traffic School online? There are in person classes as well as online classes available.There are also classes in Spanish. State Approved Traffic Schools
- How many points go on my license if I get a citation? Points Schedule
- Can I reschedule my court date? Yes, please contact the Court Clerk at the number above.
- What if I miss my court date? You will get a letter warning you of the potential for losing your license. You may pay your citation in full before the deadline on the letter or reach out the the Court Clerk as you may be able to reschedule your court date.
